In honor of the reunion, here's a list of bands that don't sound like Gang Of Four.
Liars = Public Image Limited
!!! = Pigbag
The Rapture = A Certain Ratio
Hot Hot heat = A far, far less Certain Ratio
Moving Units = An unequivocably uncertain ratio
The Fever = Tubeway Army
Franz Ferdinand = like bad Wire or something
Futureheads = XTC
The Killers = Duran Duran
The Bravery = The Killers
Bloc Party = The Cure. Don't you people have ears?
Radio 4 = Kind of.

Matt: I don't know why anyone who owns a copy of Drums and Wires would want to listen to the Futureheads for more than a minute and half.
Marie: Yeah. You'd think that these bands would be MORE punk than the old ones since it's 20 years later.
I guess the only bands that match the punkness are bands like Erase Errata and Kill Me Tomorrow--but they are more on no wave's jock.
You just can't update post-punk, no wave made it irrevelant for all intents and purposes.
wait wait wait. . . Bloc Party DOESN'T sound like Gang of Four? are there two bands named Bloc Party?
